Aftercare

At Level 7, results are built over time through structured treatment courses. Each session creates controlled skin stimulation, followed by a healing and remodelling phase.

Aftercare is a critical part of this process. It supports recovery, reduces inflammation, and ensures optimal treatment outcomes across your journey.

Microneedling & Regenerative Protocols

Immediately After Treatment (0–24 Hours)

Following treatment, the skin is in a heightened state of activity and sensitivity.

You may experience:

  • Redness and warmth (similar to mild sun exposure)

  • Tightness or dryness

  • Mild swelling

  • Increased skin sensitivity

This is a normal physiological response to controlled micro-injury and regeneration.

During this period:

  • Do not touch or pick the skin

  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours

  • Avoid heat exposure (sauna, steam, hot baths, intense exercise)

  • Avoid active skincare ingredients

First 3–5 Days

The skin enters its early repair phase. Cellular turnover and barrier restoration are active during this time.

You may notice:

  • Dryness or light flaking

  • Slight texture changes

  • Temporary congestion or purging in some cases

This is part of the skin’s renewal cycle and not a cause for concern.

During this phase:

  • Use only gentle, non-active skincare

  • Focus on hydration and barrier support

  • Avoid exfoliation, acids, retinol, or resurfacing products

  • Continue daily SPF use

Between Treatment Sessions

Your results are built cumulatively across multiple sessions.

Between treatments:

  • The skin continues to remodel collagen and elastin

  • Barrier strength improves progressively

  • Visible results develop gradually rather than immediately

Consistency is essential. We do not rush protocols or increase intensity unless clinically appropriate.

Your plan may be adjusted between sessions based on:

  • Skin response

  • Barrier resilience

  • Environmental or lifestyle changes

  • Treatment outcomes

Sun Exposure & Protection

Following all Level 7 treatments:

  • SPF must be used daily (minimum SPF 30, ideally SPF 50)

  • Direct sun exposure should be avoided for at least 7 days post-treatment

  • Tanning beds and prolonged UV exposure are not recommended at any time

UV exposure directly impacts pigmentation, inflammation, and healing quality.

Skincare During Your Course

During active treatment courses:

Avoid:

  • Retinol / retinoids

  • AHAs / BHAs / exfoliating acids

  • Physical scrubs or abrasive products

  • Strong active serums unless prescribed

Focus on:

  • Hydration-based formulations

  • Barrier-repair ingredients

  • Gentle, non-reactive skincare systems

  • Medical-grade products may be recommended based on your protocol.

Normal Skin Responses During a Course

As the skin adapts and remodels, you may experience:

  • Temporary breakouts or purging

  • Fluctuations in texture or hydration

  • Periods of increased sensitivity

These responses are part of the skin’s biological adjustment process and are monitored throughout your treatment course.

Clinical Guidance

All Level 7 treatment courses are structured around:

  • Controlled skin stimulation

  • Regenerative healing phases

  • Barrier integrity support

  • Progressive collagen remodelling

Results are cumulative, not instant. Each session builds on the last.

When to Contact Us

Please contact the clinic if you experience:

  • Persistent or worsening redness beyond 72 hours

  • Signs of infection or unusual reaction

  • Severe discomfort or unexpected skin changes

We monitor all treatment journeys and may adjust your protocol if required.

Summary

Your skin is actively changing throughout your course.

The most important part of your results happens between treatments, not just during them. Following aftercare correctly ensures your skin responds optimally and your results build progressively and safely.
