Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialist therapy that supports the movement of lymphatic fluid through the body, helping to manage swelling, support tissue recovery and encourage healthy lymphatic function.
The lymphatic system plays an important role in fluid balance, immune function and the movement of proteins and cellular waste. Surgery, inflammation, reduced mobility, hormonal changes, chronic health conditions and lifestyle factors can all influence how efficiently it works.
MLD at Level 7 is delivered by Leah, a Band 6 Registered Nurse. Leah's clinical nursing background brings a level of assessment and care to MLD that goes beyond a standard therapy treatment, she's trained to recognise when swelling or fluid changes may need wider medical attention, and to work safely alongside existing health conditions, medications, or recovery from surgery.
This clinical grounding means your MLD treatment is delivered with proper regard for your overall health, not just the symptom in front of her.

Much of Leah's work focuses on post-operative recovery, supporting clients recovering from cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. MLD is frequently recommended by surgeons to help manage swelling, improve comfort and support the healing process.
